Fosamax 70 Mg tablets include Alendronic acid, a bisphosphonate medication. It is used by postmenopausal women to treat and Avoid osteoporosis (weak or brittle bones).

It can be used to treat osteoporosis caused by overuse of corticosteroids (such as prednisone) and to enhance bone mass density in people with weak bones.

It is also used to treat Paget's disease (abnormal bone development caused by disruptions in the normal span of bone cells).

Alendronic acid helps to maintain bone mass and density by preventing bone loss. It works by adhering to the bone surface and then inhibiting the function of particular bone cells that decrease bone mass.

It also helps to maintain the replacement of new bone tissue formation and inhibits aberrant bone growth.

Fosamax 70 Mg Tablet Applications

·         Osteoporosis (induced by reduced bone mass, menopause, or corticosteroid usage) is treated.

·         Paget's disease is treated.

How Does The Fosamax 70 Mg Tablet Work?

Fosamax 70 Mg Tablet helps to increase bone mass and density by preventing bone loss. Alendronic acid works by attaching itself to the bone surface and then inhibiting the function of particular bone cells that degrade bone mass.
